Campaign Story

Hi everyone my name is Marissa. I want to start a fundraiser for myself to start a fertility journey. As long as I could remember the only thing I wanted to become in life was a mother . I took on a motherly role to my younger brother, sister, nephews and nieces. Since the age 14 I was told pregnancy for me was rare . I have PCOS, Bicornuate uterus ;which lead to having an incompetent cervix. The thought of getting pregnant was out of the question for me but I didn’t give up . As soon as I turned 18 I went to the fertility specialist all to be turned down because of my age despite the diagnosis I was given. I gave it a few years went back to be told it would cost a couple of thousands of dollars just for treatment. I felt defeated and uncertain that becoming a mother was in my future but with any help contributed to my journey would be hope to that coming true .
